Couples counseling

Do you feel lonely, sad, or stuck in your relationship? Are you and your partner frequently arguing or barely communicating at all? Are you struggling to get over previous hurts or betrayals of your trust?

Most of us yearn for connection, intimacy, and a relationship where we feel loved and understood. If you feel your relationship “isn’t working,” it can be a source of intense pain and maybe even a sense of failure.

How couples counseling can help

Couples counseling can provide the space you and your partner need to work through relationship issues and develop open communication.

In couples counseling, you will work to:

  • Discover negative patterns and break them through practical changes
  • Create a more fulfilling and nurturing relationship
  • Develop stronger intimacy and respect
  • Support honest and vulnerable communication

In our sessions together, we can identify the source of the issues and create effective strategies to deal with them.

By exploring your relationship in a safe, compassionate environment, you can discover growth and healing, both as a couple and on an individual level.

Learn how to disagree and how to make your partner feel loved

In therapy, you and your partner can learn practical ways to give and receive love and appreciation.

You and your partner deserve to feel loved, appreciated, and cared for.

You can gain these practical skills that can be applied right away:

  • Mindfulness and reflection
  • Understanding and managing triggers
  • Increasing awareness of each other’s emotional needs
  • Cultivating positive, healthy ways to deal with conflict

Please note, our practice does not provide emergency care. If you are having thoughts to imminently hurt yourself or anybody else, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. We additionally recommend calling the national suicide hotline: 1-800-273-8255.
Additionally, this message form should not be used to transmit private personal information, and contact via this form without a full evaluation does not imply there is a patient-provider relationship.
